Inter have not yet received any offers for defender Stefan de Vrij, and could extend his contract after the transfer window closes.

This according to Italian news outlet Gazzetta.it, who report that the Nerazzurri would not look to renew the 30-year-old’s deal until after the end of the window.

There is interest in de Vrij from the Premier League, with Manchester United in particular having been linked with a move for the Dutchman, but as of yet no serious offers have arrived.

The Nerazzurri would be willing to listen to offers and would sell the 30-year-old for the right amount, although they would also be ready to offer him a new deal in the event that they do not agree a sale this summer.

De Vrij’s deal ends at the end of June 2023, but Inter are prepared to let him go into the final season of his contract and try to agree an extension.
