AC Milan continue to lurk in the background with an interest in signing Paulo Dybala as Inter still haven’t made a move to wrap up the signing of the Argentine.

This according to Italian broadcaster SportMediaset, who report that the Rossoneri still have not taken any concrete steps to sign the 28-year-old, but that the interest is there.

Inter have looked to be the club in pole position to get a deal done for Dybala for some time after talks with his representatives appeared to have gone positively.

However, a few holdups appeared in the deal, particularly with the Nerazzurri’s focus shifting to taking advantage of the opportunity to bring Romelu Lukaku back on loan from Chelsea which means they now have too many forwards in the squad.

For now, Inter are not in a position to conclude a deal for Dybala, and their city rivals are considering their options in case the situation drags on.
