Inter would be ready to give Chelsea first dibs in the race for defender Milan Skriniar ahead of Paris Saint-Germain due to the Blues having cooperated with them in making a loan deal for Romelu Lukaku happen.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the Nerazzurri currently have good relations with Chelsea after the Lukaku talks, and this could be an advantage for the Premier League side should they step up their interest in Skriniar.

Chelsea are looking for top-class central defensive options to reinforce their backline following the departures of several starting players from the positions on free transfers, and Skriniar is among the players who they are most keen on.

PSG remain the team with the strongest interest in the 27-year-old, but the Blues could seriously rival the French champions for his signature, and given the positive atmosphere between them and Inter following Lukaku’s move, they could have a preferential option.
