Atalanta are pushing ahead to sign Andrea Pinamonti from Inter despite not selling any strikers so far this summer, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by Tuttosport, La Dea could confirm the purchase of Andrea Pinamonti without selling either Duvan Zapata or Luis Muriel to make space for him in the squad or the wage budget.

It is a sign that Gian Piero Gasperini’s side really want to add the 23-year-old to their ranks and that feeling is reciprocated by Andrea Pinamonti who is totally focused on the Atalanta move rather than any other club.

One forward has actually left the Bergamaschi this summer but it was younger Roberto Piccoli who is undergoing medical examinations today for a move to Hellas Verona on loan.

Andrea Pinamonti scored 13 goals last season for Empoli whilst on loan which has led to a lot of interest in the Italian.
