Fiorentina owner Rocco Commisso is hoping to drum up an auction for Inter target Nikola Milenkovic, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by La Repubblica today, the Fiorentina owner has spied an opportunity to make as much money as possible from the sale of Nikola Milenkovic this summer as there are a number of teams that could move for him.

Inter are one of those teams as the Serbian would provide some high-quality depth in that area of the pitch. They are expected to sell Milan Skriniar to Paris Saint Germain for a big fee. That money can be reinvested into Gleison Bremer and Nikola Milenkovic.

Napoli could be in a similar position if they sell Kalidou Koulibaly in the coming weeks. They will then try to sign Nikola Milenkovic.

Beppe Marotta is known to not like being dragged into auctions for players and paying inflated fees.
