New Inter midfielder Kristjan Asllani is set to wear the number 14 shirt for the Nerazzurri after it was vacated by Ivan Perisic, according to the club.
In a statement made by the club, they confirmed the squad number of the Albanian midfielder who had his move to Inter officially announced by the club on Thursday afternoon.
The former Empoli midfielder has signed on a one-year loan which is costing Inter €4 million. They will buy him at the end of next season for an extra fee of €10 million and there is another €2 million of add-ons.
The 20-year-old had a deeply impressive season with the Azzurri last year and it soon became clear that the Nerazzurri want him to be Marcelo Brozovic’s understudy next season.
He could then replace the Croatian in the long run in the middle of the Inter midfield. Martin Satriano will be moving to Empoli on loan in a separate deal.
