Inter boss Simone Inzaghi will instate the Romelu Lukaku and Lautaro Martinez partnership straight away meaning Edin Dzeko loses his starting place in the team, according to a report in the Italian media.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, it will be interesting to see how Simone Inzaghi chooses to go forward tactically now that he has got the famous Lu-La partnership that was so devastating for Antonio Conte for two seasons.

They believe that the coach will immediately instate the Argentine and the Belgian into his starting eleven in a 3-5-2 formation and Edin Dzeko will move down to the bench.

There will have to be rotation throughout the season of course, meaning the partnership of Romelu Lukaku and Edin Dzeko that Antonio Conte had in mind in 2019 could be seen at points during the campaign.

Simone Inzaghi could still have to fit Paulo Dybala into the team as well.
