Edin Dzeko will not be moving to Valencia this summer which is a deal that would have opened the door for Paulo Dybala to be signed by Inter, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by Corriere dello Sport today, the wages that the Bosnian forward requires are not sustainable for the Spanish side and they will now have to pursue other targets.

The Valencia boss is former AC Milan player and coach Gennaro Gattuso and he requested Edin Dzeko as he is an experienced striker who would be very reliable in the attack at the Mestalla.

He has now resigned himself to not signing the former Manchester City and AS Roma forward.

If Edin Dzeko had made that move, it could have allowed Inter to finally pull the trigger on the Paulo Dybala free transfer as there would have been more space in both the squad and the wage budget.
