Inter’s corporate CEO Alessandro Antonello has said that Inter and Konami have a bond based on values and objectives after a new sponsorship was announced by the club.
Alessandro Antonello gave his thoughts as part of a statement by the club announcing that Konami have become the club’s Global Football Videogame Partner, Youth Development Centre Partner and Training Kit Back Partner.
Konami have been part of Inter in the past and are now resuming that journey. Alessandro Antonello says that the companies have shared values and objectives.
“This new multi-year global partnership agreement proves the importance of a common path between Inter and KONAMI. A clear commitment that resumes a bond that began years ago and will continue into the future, based on shared values and objectives.”
The Chief Revenue Officer of Inter, Luca Danovaro said that he is happy to welcome Konami back to the Nerazzurri family and hopes that the move engages young fans.
“We are delighted to welcome KONAMI back into the Inter family and to announce this important and unique partnership, which once again proves the ever-growing value of the Nerazzurri brand and its ability to represent the ideal communication platform to engage a young, innovative and international target, capable of connecting millions of fans around the world, thanks to a long-term strategy. Starting this season, KONAMI will play a leading role in our world.”
The European president of Konami Digital Entertainment also offered some thoughts on the deal and they feel that it is very exciting to be joining forces with a club the size of Inter.
“Joining forces with a club of Inter’s calibre as part of our football partners is so exciting for KONAMI.
“With the new name of the Youth Development Centre, the eFootball logo on the various teams’ training kits and a range of eSports activations, at KONAMI we know that this partnership will generate plenty of success now and in the long term.”
