Inter are in talks to extend their kit manufacturing deal with Nike but president Steven Zhang is prepared to look elsewhere, according to a report in the Italian media.
As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter are looking to extend but also enhance the deal that they currently have with American sportswear brand Nike which supplies the kits for the men’s, women’s and youth teams.
The current deal runs until 2024 but Inter feel that it is not doing enough for them financially anymore and they have begun talks for a new deal.
Steven Zhang’s objective is to reach a fee of at least €30 million that Nike will pay to the Rossoneri. That is partly in response to AC Milan’s recent announcement that Puma will be making their kits in the future.
There is a distance between the two parties but Inter hope to conclude the deal in the coming months.
