Boca Juniors have made Inter midfielder Arturo Vidal a contract offer for a one-and-a-half-year deal until the end of December 2023, with the option of a further eighteen months.
This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the Argentine giants are starting to sign the 35-year-old and have made him a formal contract offer.
Vidal’s departure from Inter this summer looks to be all but inevitable, with things expected to be made official within the next few days as the Nerazzurri pay him a €4 million severance in order to avoid triggering an option to extend his current contract.
Once the Chilean leaves Inter his next destination is not yet clear, with a number of clubs keen on him.
However, Boca look to be serious about signing Vidal and they are stepping up their interest, with their first contract offer having now come in, although in order to sign him they will have to reduce the number of foreign players currently in their squad.
