Former Inter forward Wilfried Gnonto has said that he cried for Inter once and if he went back he would be able to handle the pressure, according to a report in the Italian media.
As was said in an interview with Sportweek magazine, via FCInter1908, Wilfried Gnonto explained that his most important moment whilst with the Nerazzurri youth setup was when he cried on the occasion of playing at San Siro.
He alluded to the fact that he put a huge amount of pressure on himself at that time his career but if he were to return to the club in the future he would be able to handle the pressure on his shoulders.
“For Inter I cried, that time at the San Siro. I ask a lot of myself, I exaggerate. But if I went back to Inter I would know how to handle the pressure: I’m learning how to do it.”
He was on the books at Inter between 2012 and 2020 but he then decided to leave the club on a permanent deal to join FC Zurich II in Switzerland. He was soon moved into the first team when his talent became clear.
