Inter midfielder Stefano Sensi has officially joined newly-promoted Monza on a season-long loan deal.

This is confirmed in a post on Monza’s official Twitter account, where they announce the signing and welcome the 26-year-old to the club ahead of the upcoming campaign.

Sensi had been one of Monza’s primary targets for much of the early part of the summer transfer window, with the Lombard club aiming to bring in proven Serie A quality in order to bolster their squad for life in the top flight.

Monza pushed for the signing, and after securing an agreement with the Nerazzurri, they also convinced the player that the move will be the right one for him to take the next step in his career.

Sensi had spent the second half of the season just gone on loan with Sampdoria, and now he is set for another dry loan move, where he will look to make a major contribution with the ambitious newly-promoted side.
