Legendary former AC Milan coach Arrigo Sacchi believes that his old side would be a more suitable destination for Paulo Dybala than Inter.

Speaking to Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport in an interview published in today’s print edition, Sacchi suggested that the Rossoneri’s style of play would be a natural fit for the 28-year-old compared to the Nerazzurri’s.

Dybala has been strongly linked with a move to Inter for some time whilst their city rivals have recently emerged as serious candidates to sign him on a free transfer.

The Argentine had shown moments of great form with Juventus, but also some periods where he was less effective, partly down to injury struggles but also due to issues of his tactical fit within the team.

Accordingly, the style of play will be an important factor in where the 28-year-old decides to go next, and Sacchi feels that the Rossoneri would be the ideal destination for him.

“Dybala would fit in better at Milan than at Inter,” the former coach said, “because the Rossoneri are already used to playing with a second striker.”
