Brazilian giants Flamengo are on the verge of getting a deal done for Inter midfielder Arturo Vidal, and they are also targeting Alexis Sanchez.

This according to Chilean news outlet Goal.com, via FCInterNews, who report that the Brazilians may not be done with Vidal and are also in talks with fellow Chilean Inter player Sanchez.

Vidal is set to depart Inter very soon, and Flamengo are one of the clubs with which the 35-year-old has been most strongly linked over the past few months.

Boca Juniors are also keen on Vidal, but Flamengo are ready to offer him an 18-month deal on better financial terms than the Argentine would be capable of putting forward, and he could sign his contract with the Brazilians as early as today.

Meanwhile, Sanchez also looks set for a departure from the Nerazzurri, and he could immediately rejoin his compatriot at Flamengo, who have already inquired to the 33-year-old’s representatives about his wage demands.

At the moment, Flamengo are in talks with Sanchez, and it will remain to be seen if they can convince the Chilean to make the switch to join Vidal.
