Anderlecht CEO Peter Verbeke is pleased that his club have managed to complete a deal for Inter striker Sebastiano Esposito on loan.

Speaking to Anderlecht’s official site, Verbeke outlined some of the reasons why the Belgian team see Esposito as an excellent prospect and his signing on loan with a purchase option as a very good piece of business.

Today Anderlecht announced Esposito’s arrival on loan officially, with the move having been anticipated for some time.

Now, the 19-uear-old will link up with the Belgian team for their preseason preparations, and he will hope that he can take another step forward within the senior game by helping them to their goals during the upcoming season.

For his part, Verbeke is very happy with the deal, and believes that based on what the young striker has shown so far in his career, he will be a player who can make a significant contribution to them.

“Sebastiano is a young striker with great potential,” he said. “He has great technical ability, he’s intelligent, thinks fast and can score or assist.”

He added that “He combines easily and can create something out of nothing. A lot of qualities that match well with the DNA of our club.”
