Inter are only waiting to wrap up the departure of Alexis Sanchez before they can sign Paulo Dybala on a free transfer.

This according to Italian broadcaster SportMediaset, who report that the Nerazzurri are getting close to getting the signing of Dybala over the line, whilst city rivals AC Milan are cooling down their interest to focus on other targets.

Dybala’s status has remained in limbo as the Nerazzurri have not been able to wrap up a deal for him due to circumstances, particularly the arrival of Romelu Lukaku, making it difficulty, and this has opened the door for other interested clubs.

However, while the Rossoneri have been mulling over trying to beat their city rivals to the signing of Dybala, their focus is instead on deals for Club Brugge’s Charles De Ketelaere, Chelsea’s Hakim Ziyech, and Lille’s Renato Sanches.

Instead, Inter remain firmly favourites to sign Dybala, and the main thing they have to do before getting a deal done for the 28-year-old is complete the exit of Sanchez.
