Inter striker Martin Satriano is set to undergo his medicals today ahead of a season-long loan move to Empoli.
This according to Italian news outlet FCInterNews, who report that the 21-year-old will join the Tuscans and that today the final details will start to get wrapped up beginning with the medicals.
Satriano spent the second half of last season playing for Brest on loan, and another loan had always looked to be the likely next step for the Uruguayan to further his development within the senior game after an impressive showing in Ligue 1.
Empoli stepped forward as one of the keenest clubs for Satriano’s signature, and the Nerazzurri offered the striker on loan as part of the talks for midfielder Kristjan Asllani, whose move to Inter has already been confirmed.
It was left up to the player to decide on whether or not to accept a move to Empoli, and he has made his decision, so now only the formalities are left before the deal is completed.
