Inter striker Martin Satriano has officially completed the move to Empoli on a season-long loan deal.

This is announced by the Tuscan club in a post on their official Instagram account, welcoming the 21-year-old to Paolo Zanetti’s team ahead of the upcoming season.

Satriano had been expected to make a loan move this summer, after having enjoyed a successful spell on loan with Brest in Ligue 1 over the second half of the campaign just gone.

The Uruguayan’s name had come up in talks between Inter and Empoli regarding a move for midfielder Kristjan Asllani, with the Tuscans having already enjoyed success with an Inter striker on loan last time around in the form of Andrea Pinamonti.

Satriano will make the switch for one season, and there is no indication that the loan contains any sort of purchase option for Empoli, but the player will look to help keep them in Serie A and continue his growth within the senior game.
