Brazilian giants Flamengo are very serious about trying to sign Inter forward Alexis Sanchez, and over the coming days they will push to see if a move would be possible.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the Brazilians will speak with the 33-year-old’s agent and see if he’d be willing to make the switch to a team outside of Europe.

Flamengo are already on the verge of completing a deal for Inter midfielder Arturo Vidal, but they may not be finished there as they are also keen on his Nerazzurri and Chile teammate Sanchez.

The coming days will be crucial for revealing whether or not Sanchez would be willing to accept the move, with Flamengo trying to unlock the negotiations with his agent Fernando Felicevich, and putting forward their wage offer to see whether his response will be positive or if he will turn down a move.
