Flamengo would be willing to offer Alexis Sanchez the same wages that he would earn in the final season of his contract with Inter in order to sign him.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the Brazilians would be prepared to make a big financial effort to convince the Chilean on a deal for next season.

Sanchez’s future remains up in the air, with an Inter departure all but inevitable but the precise terms of the exit and his future destination yet to be made clear.

One of the sticking points in finding a new club for Sanchez has been that, while there is no shortage of transfer interest around him, few clubs can match the wages that he is entitled to in the final year of his deal with the Nerazzurri.

Flamengo have entered the race for the 33-year-old, and they are very keen on signing him and ready to put forward a substantial offer to sign him, even matching what he currently earns.
