Inter could sign both Torino’s Bremer and Borussia Dortmund’s Manuel Akanji this summer to overhaul their defense in the event that both Milan Skriniar and Stefan de Vrij are sold.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that both defenders are serious targets for the Nerazzurri given that they could be looking to replace two defenders in their starting eleven.

Skriniar’s move to Paris Saint-Germain looks to be only a matter of time, and Bremer is the player who Inter will try and sign to bolster their defense with a player of a similar level to the Slovakian.

Meanwhile, de Vrij’s exit could follow, with Manchester United very keen on the 30-year-old, and in this event signing one defender would not be enough.

Akanji is a player who the Nerazzurri have been linked with in the past couple days, and they would be ready to spend around €30 million to sign him, the same amount that has been allocated to sign Bremer.

Both Bremer and Akanji are targets, as is Fiorentina’s Nikola Milenkovic, as Inter could yet have a serious overhaul of their back three in store for next season.
