Around €5 million still remains between Inter’s asking price and Atalanta’s offer for striker Andrea Pinamonti.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the two clubs are moving forward trying to find an agreement for the 23-year-old but that the Nerazzurri’s asking price has not yet been met.

Inter are ready to sell Pinamonti, whose departure promises to be a source of much-needed cash from the transfer market given how the young striker’s value skyrocketed on the back of his loan spell with Empoli last season.

Atalanta are the keenest club on the 23-year-old by far, who reciprocates their interest and prefers a move to La Dea ahead of all other destinations.

The talks are ongoing, but up to this point the Lombards are reluctant to get close to the Nerazzurri’s valuation of Pinamonto, reported to be around €18-20 million, and so more negotiations will be needed.
