Inter want a buyback clause inserted when they sell Andrea Pinamonti, with Atalanta in pole position to get a deal done for the striker.

This according to Italian news outlet TuttoMercatoWeb, who report that the Nerazzurri do not want to lose control of the 23-year-old’s future permanently when they sell him, with La Dea still the team best-placed to sign him.

Pinamonti has a number of teams interested in him following his outstanding season on loan with Empoli last time around, including French champions Paris Saint-Germain who are considering a move for him.

Atalanta remain the club with whom the player would be ready to agree a move, although Inter have yet to come together with the Lombards on the terms of a deal.

One aspect of a deal that the Nerazzurri are thinking about is including a buyback option, as they would like to have the opportunity to resign Pinamonti in the event that he continues to develop into a top striker.
