Inter striker Edin Dzeko has emerged as a target for newly-promoted Monza, with CEO Adriano Galliani very keen on a move for the Belgian.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the Monza executive is targeting the Bosnian who he had been tracking all the way back in 2009 whilst he was signing players for AC Milan.

Dzeko’s future is uncertain at Inter despite the fact that he joined from Roma just last summer, as the team could be in for a shakeup in attack particularly if Paulo Dybala is to be signed.

Monza have emerged as a possible destinations for the striker, with the Lombard team looking to make ambitious signings for their first season in the top flight.

Galliani had been close to bringing Dzeko to the Rossoneri from Wolfsburg all the way back in 2009 and never really lost his interest in the player, and now he could be after finally getting his man thirteen years on from then.
