Inter are set for a big overhaul in defence and they are also working on the departures of Lorenzo Pirola and Andrea Pinamonti, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by Corriere dello Sport today, there is an acceptance that Milan Skriniar’s move to Paris Saint Germain will be completed in the very near future.

That sale for around €70 million will give Inter the liquidity that they need to make a definitive effort to sign Gleison Bremer from Torino to enhance the back line.

As well as the Brazilian defender, there are the options of Nikola Milenkovic from Fiorentina and Manuel Akanji from Borussia Dortmund who would include the quality of depth behind the main three defenders.

Other younger defenders at the club are set to leave such as Zinho Vanheusden on loan to AZ Alkmaar and Lorenzo Pirola to Salernitana. Andrea Pinamonti will also be sold to either Monza or Atalanta.
