Italian journalist Fabrizio Biasin has said that Inter will only sell one defender this summer rather than two, according to a report in the Italian broadcast media.

Speaking whilst on Telelombardia, via FCInter1908, Fabrizio Biasin discussed the complex centre-back situation at Inter which is set to change a lot over the coming weeks.

He says that it has been made clear that only one defender will leave so that rules out losing Milan Skriniar to Paris Saint Germain and then also selling Dutch defender Stefan de Vrij who has been linked with a move away for a long time.

“It has been made clear to us that only one defender will leave. So, if Skriniar leaves, de Vrij does not leave and vice versa.”

He went on to say that regardless of the sales, there will definitely be two defenders arriving at the club during the summer. One will be replacing Andrea Ranocchia and another to replace whoever else is sold.

“In any case, two defenders will come in. One must replace Ranocchia, the other the eventual departure. The names are those of Bremer and Milenkovic. Let’s say that if Inter managed to bring them to Milan, they would have completed their market plan, barring any surprises.”

Inter are well placed to sign Gleison Bremer and Nikola Milenkovic when they have raised the money.
