Inter goalkeeper Andrei Radu has said that he will have a great year at Cremonese after his loan to the club was officially announced, according to a report in the Italian broadcast media.

Speaking during an unveiling video on Youtube uploaded by Cremonese, the Romanian goalkeeper said that he is ready to sacrifice for the club and has a desire to do well in what will be Cremonese’s first Serie A campaign for 26 years.

“Thank you, I have a great spirit of sacrifice and a great desire to do well just like the club itself, which is back in Serie A after 26 years.”

He then added that he is ready to have a great year and sends his greetings to the watching Cremonese fans.

“I am very happy and it will be a great year. A big hello to Cremonese, I send you a hug and forza Cremo.”

Andrei Radu decided to pursue a loan deal because he is now 26 years old and it is clear that he will not be getting regular game time at Inter under Simone Inzaghi any time soon.

The arrival of Andre Onana at the club on a free transfer and the retention of Samir Handanovic meant he would be third choice.
