The consistency of Romelu Lukaku and Lautaro Martinez could be the key difference for Inter next season in the title race, according to a report in the Italian print media today.
As has been reported by Tuttosport, the figures that the Belgian forward and the Argentinian forward managed to post when they were last in the Inter squad together will be tough for other teams to beat.
The famous Lu-La partnership managed to score 78 goals in the 76 matches that they have played together which was during the two seasons with Antonio Conte at the helm.
Added to that, in the games where both of them scored at least one goal, which was 16 occasions, all 16 of the games ended in victory for the Nerazzurri.
Simone Inzaghi has suggested that 84 points would likely be enough to win the Scudetto and if his strikers can replicate those goalscoring figures, it will be hard for other teams to challenge.
