The next 48 hours are set to be decisive in Paris Saint-Germain’s chase of Inter defender Milan Skriniar, and they are still thinking about trying to get a deal done with a player-plus-cash offer.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the Nerazzurri expect a potentially decisive offer very soon, whilst the Parisians are considering including defender Abdou Diallo in a deal.

Inter are still waiting for PSG to make a big push to complete a deal for Skriniar, but the belief within the club after a meeting to discuss transfer strategy is that this should be received within the next 48 hours or so.

So far, Inter have rejected the possibility of a player-plus-cash offer completely, with Thilo Kehrer and Julian Draxler among the players they have turned down as they are only interested in a straight cash offer which gets as close to their €80 million valuation as possible.

However, the French champions could still try one more offer of this nature, with defender Diallo not in coach Christophe Galtier’s plans and possibly a makewight in a deal for Skriniar.
