Inter midfielder Marco Pompetti has joined Serie B club FC Sudtirol on a season-long loan.

This is confirmed by the Nerazzurri’s official site, which announces that the 22-year-old has completed the move ahead of the upcoming campaign.

Popmpetti is a graduate of the Nerazzurri’s youth academy, having played for the club’s Primavera team, and over the past three seasons he has played on loan for the likes of Pisa, Cavese, and last season Pescara.

Now, the 22-year-old joins Sudtirol, who will be hoping that they can build on last season which saw them win promotion from Serie B, and the midfielder will be aiming to help the Trentino-based team to keep their foothold in the second division.

Pompetti will link up with former Primavera teammate Matteo Rover, with the duo looking to impress for Sudtirol in order to take another step forward within the senior game over the next season.
