Roma could look to rival Inter for the signature of Paulo Dybala, but they would first have to offload Nicolo Zaniolo for a big fee in order to fund a deal.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the Giallorossi are thinking about trying to sign Dybala as a replacement for Zaniolo should he be sold to Juventus for around €50 million.

Dybala’s future remains up in the air with Inter not yet having gotten a deal done for him, and Roma have already shown an interest in the 28-year-old on a free transfer.

Despite coming without a transfer fee, the Argentine would be very difficult to accommodate within the Giallorossi’s wage structure, but the situation could be changed if a big money sale is done this summer.

Zaniolo looks to be pushing for an exit and the Bianconeri are very keen, whilst the Giallorossi would want a fee of €50 million in cash so that they could easily pay Inter the 15% sell-on fee on the midfielder.

In this case, Roma would then consider a move for Dybala should Inter not secure his signature.
