Brazilian giants are pushing to sign Alexis Sanchez from Inter, which could clear the way for the Nerazzurri to move for Paulo Dybala.

This according to Italian news outlet Gazzetta.it, who report that the Brazilians are very serious about signing the 33-year-old, and that the Nerazzurri will be hoping that they can convince him on a deal.

Flamengo are already on the verge of signing midfielder Arturo Vidal on a free transfer from Inter, a move which will save the Nerazzurri more than €10 million on the 35-year-old’s gross wages.

However, they may not be done, as they have set their sights on Vidal’s Inter and Chile teammate Sanchez, and would be ready to offer him a deal similar to the 18-month contract worth €3.5 million net per season that they’ve offered Vidal.

So far Sanchez has rejected all offers, including from the likes of Colo Colo, Galatasaray, Sevilla, and Villarreal, but Flamengo are determined to sign him.

Should the Brazilians convince Sanchez and sort his future away from Inter out, the Nerazzurri could be one step closer to signing Dybala.
