Italian journalist Fabrizio Biasin believes that Inter could get a deal done for Torino defender Bremer even without selling a big name defender.

Speaking to Italian news outlet Calciomercato.it’s Twitch channel, as reported by FCInter1908, Biasin explained that the funds from a sale of striker Andrea Pinamonti could be enough on their own to fund the deal for Bremer right away.

Inter look to be getting ready to finally try and wrap up a deal after months of anticipation and transfer links, and part of the reason for the delay is that they have not yet made a big sale to raise the money to buy the Brazilian.

A sale would be a precondition for signing Bremer, and the departure of Milan Skriniar has been expected to be the trigger for a move for the Brazilian, but according to Biasin this wouldn’t necessarily have to be the case given that selling Pinamonti could well be sufficient.

“The club will listen to offers that reach €70 million,” Biasin said of Skriniar. “So far such an offer hasn’t arrived. As far as Bremer, the club wants the Brazilian regardless.”

“To sign him they’ll need to make a sale,” he continued, “whether it’s a defender or even just Pinamonti.”

“Therefore, logically, if one of Skriniar or De Vrij are to leave, Inter will try to sign another defender, with Milenkovic being a candidate,” he noted.
