Sassuolo are ready to rival Atalanta and Monza for the signature of Inter striker Andrea Pinamonti.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the Neroverdi have told Inter that they would be ready to submit a bid for the 23-year-old once they sell Gianluca Scamacca.

Pinamonti’s future looks to clearly be away from Inter this summer, with no shortage of clubs both in Italy and abroad showing interest in him after his outstanding campaign on loan with Empoli last season.

In recent weeks, the likes of Atalanta and Monza have emerged as the likeliest destination for Pinamonti, but now Sassuolo have indicated that they are ready to join the race.

The Neroverdi’s interest in Pinamonti could be contingent on a sale of Scamacca, however, and so it remains to be seen how things go in this respect as the race for the striker heats up.
