Former AC Milan, Napoli, and Juventus striker Jose Altafini believes that both Inter and Juventus will have very formidable attacks going into next season.

Speaking to Italian news agency AGI, via FCInter1908, Altafini predicted that both the Nerazzurri and the Bianconeri will head into the upcoming season well-set-up going forward, but that it’s hard to say which will have the stronger attack.

Inter have brought back Romelu Lukaku from Chelsea and could also sign Paulo Dybala to an attack that was already the strongest in Serie A during the campaign just gone, whilst Juventus have signed Angel Di Maria in addition to Dusan Vlahovic having had a full preseason.

Factoring in the return of Federico Chiesa and other aspects, both teams could very well expect to have strong enough attacks to fight for the Serie A title next season.

Altafini gave his thoughts on the two teams’ attacking players, stating that “There will be two very strong attacks, Inter’s is very powerful, but also Juve’s.”

“Vlahovic and Lukaku are equal in quality, as are Di Maria and Dybala,” he continued. “Vlahovic has a real hunger to win, Di Maria and Pogba I don’t know about.”

“At Inter Lautaro continues to want to win, even Lukaku who hasn’t had the best of seasons, but he’s a great player,” he continued. “Dybala will have to choose whether to prove he is great or sit down.”
