Inter striker Andrea Pinamonti is thinking about a move to Monza, who are also considering a move for former Nerazzurri striker and captain Mauro Icardi from Paris Saint-Germain.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the current and former Inter players are both potential parts of the newly-promoted club’s ambitious attacking rebuild.

Monza are one of the teams pushing most strongly for Pinamonti, who they hope can play a similar role for them as they adjust to life in the top flight to what he managed with Empoli in their first season back in Serie A last time around.

Icardi is also a serious target, particularly if PSG would be willing to subsidize some of the 29-year-old’s wages, and departing Atletico Madrid striker Luis Suarez is also on their radar, albeit a difficult deal to get done.

In any event, Pinamonti is seriously considering a move to the Lombard team.
