Inter will not have a buyback clause in the deal to sell defender Lorenzo Pirola to Salernitana on loan with a purchase option.

This according to yesterday’s print edition of Naples-based newspaper Il Mattino, who report that once the Campanians decide to buy the 20-year-old, the Nerazzurri will not have any option to buy him back automatically.

Salernitana are all set to wrap up a move for Pirola, and the player has already flown out to the training camp of his new club to start preparing for next season with manager Davide Nicola’s squad.

The Campanians are set to sign Pirola on loan initially, and the deal will contain a purchase option which becomes an obligation to buy him for €5 million once the defender hits twenty appearances.

Despite the Nerazzurri having hoped for a buyback clause to be included in the deal, no such option has been made a part of it.
