Young Inter fullback Franco Carboni has officially made the switch to Cagliari on loan for the upcoming season, with the Rossoblu having an option to buy him on a permanent basis.

This is confirmed by the Sardinian club by an announcement on their official site, where they announce the Argentine’s arrival and welcome him to the club, with the move initially loan deal which contains a purchase option as well as a buyback clause for Inter.

Carboni had widely expected to go on loan for the upcoming season after a very positive campaign with the Nerazzurri’s Primavera team in which he showed that he is ready to take the step into senior football.

A number of clubs within Italy had shown an interest in signing the 19-year-old, but it is the Rossoblu who have won the race for his signature, and he will look to help them get promoted straight back to Serie A next season.
