Sassuolo are ready to join Atalanta in the race to sign Inter striker Andrea Pinamonti, whilst the player has put talks with Monza and Salernitana.
This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the Neroverdi are serious about trying to sign the 23-year-old, who they would see as an ideal replacement in the event that Gianluca Scamacca leaves this summer.
Pinamonti has no shortage of suitors for the summer transfer window, with teams in both Italy and abroad coming forward with interest in him, and several Serie A clubs are keen.
Monza and Salernitana are both trying to sign the 23-year-old, but for now they are not his priorities whilst he waits to see if a move to Atalanta could happen.
Meanwhile, Sassuolo are also very interested as they could lose striker Scamacca this summer, while the Emilians are also interested in signing young Nerazzurri midfielder Cesare Casadei.
