Inter CEO Beppe Marotta still has the opportunity to get a deal done for Paulo Dybala if he decides to, despite the transfer links between the Argentine and several other clubs.

This according to SportItalia transfer market expert Alfredo Pedulla, who reports that Dybala would only join another club if Marotta definitively closes the door on a move to Inter, and that the outcome of the transfer saga should be clear by around July 20.

Inter have not signed Dybala yet despite having looked extremely close to an agreement with him last month, and it is far from clear that they will do so in the end.

However, this does not mean that they have lost interest in the 28-year-old, and according to Pedulla Nerazzurri CEO Marotta can still get a deal done if he decides that he’s able to.

In the meantime Dybala has been linked with a host of other clubs, but for the time being it is still Marotta and Inter who are poised to sign him.

“If we had to limit ourselves to analyzing words, we would have to have concluded that Inter’s pursuit of Dybala was over after Marotta’s statement,” Pedulla pointed out.

“I think their chase of him is still open,” he continued, “it will be finished only if and when Marotta closes the door on Dybala.:

“We’ve heard every other day about Milan, Napoli, Roma, Atletico, United,” Pedulla went on, “and there’s still no point to his because Marotta continues to hold all the card.”

“Let’s see how Sanchez’s situation ends up,” he noted of a situation that is undoubtedly linked to the pursuit of Dybala.

“As far as Lukaku, however, a big club will take it in perspective, if you sign Dybala for nothing he’s worth €30 million, if he gets back to his best and has a great season,” he pointed out.

“We have to be circumspect and I’d wait a few more days to see what happens,” he pointed out. “For Dybala, I expect a resolution by July 20.”
