Inter defender Milan Skriniar stayed in Milan rather than travelling with the team for the friendly match against Lugano, and he will discuss his future with representatives amid transfer links to Paris Saint-Germain.

This according to Italian news outlet TuttoMercatoWeb, who reported in a tweet that the 27-year-old didn’t travel due to injury, and will take the opportunity to speak about the PSG links with intermediaries.

Skriniar is back with the rest of the Nerazzurri’s squad, but his future is very much up in the air given the strong push by PSG for his signature.

At the moment, the Slovakian is still putting a muscle injury that he picked up while playing in the Nations League with his country behind him, and so he is not part of the squad that travelled to Switzerland.

In the meantime, Skriniar will discuss his future with intermediaries in the negotiations with PSG.

TuttoMercatoWeb tweeted, “Milan Skriniar remained in Milan because he is unavailable for the team which travelled to the friendly against Lugano. This afternoon the player will take stock of his future with intermediaries in the talks with PSG.”
