Young Inter striker Samuele Mulattieri has emerged as a possible transfer target for Serie B side Reggina.

This according to today’s print edition of Messina-based newspaper Gazzetta del Sud, who report that the 21-year-old has emerged as a target for the Calabrian team as they build their project for new coach Filippo Inzaghi, and that they wish to sign him on loan.

Mulattieri is currently training with the rest of the Nerazzurri’s squad after returning from his loan spell with Crotone in Serie B last season, but his future is likely to once again be away from the Nerazzurri on loan.

The young striker, who had spent the season before scoring freely on loan with Dutch side Volendam, will look to take another step forward in the senior game, and Reggina are among his suitors for a new destination.

The Calabrians have recently appointed legendary former AC Milan striker and brother of Inter coach Simone Inzaghi, Filippo Inzaghi, to guide them next season.
