Roma could decide to take the risk of moving to sign Paulo Dybala even before they make sales this summer.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper La Repubblica, who report that it would not be out of the question for the Giallorossi to decide to step up their pursuit of the Argentine even before sales are made.

Dybala is on Roma’s radar, but the main sticking point is that even on a free transfer the 28-year-old would represent a sizable investment given his wage demands.

If sales were to be made, there could be financial room for the Giallorossi to sign Dybala, but they are also thinking of taking the plunge to win the race for his signature and then making sales later.

Meanwhile, Napoli would feel that they are in a position to sign Dybala if they are to sell defender Kalidou Koulibaly for a significant fee.
