La Liga duo Villarreal and Real Betis have emerged as possible destinations for Inter forward Alexis Sanchez for next season, and he is considering both as options.

This according to Italian news outlet FCInterNews, who report that while the 33-year-old’s favoured destination remains Barcelona, he would be interested in joining another Spanish club as teams start to come forward.

Sanchez’s exit from the Nerazzurri this summer looks to be all but inevitable even though he has not yet agreed to terminate his contract, but one of the biggest uncertainties concerns where he will be playing his football next season.

There have been no shortage of clubs coming forward with interest in the Chilean, but none have convinced him so far, while a return to La Liga could interest in him.

A return to Barcelona would be the ideal move for the player, but with both Villarreal and Betis showing interest he is considering both clubs.
