Italian journalist Fabrizio Biasin has said that Paulo Dybala’s agent hesitated too much with Inter and may now be regretting it, according to a report in the Italian broadcast media.

Speaking whilst on Telelombardia, via FCInter1908, Fabrizio Biasin explained that there was a lot of wavering from Paulo Dybala’s agent, Jorge Antun, during the earlier stages of their negotiations with Inter.

That meant that a definite agreement could not be found quickly and Inter then moved on to signing Romelu Lukaku which has lessened the need to sign Paulo Dybala.

“Inter had the will to get to Dybala. Then the possibility of Lukaku became concrete and Inter took Lukaku. This displaced Dybala’s agent, who hesitated too much and is now perhaps regretting it a little. Now Inter have to sell Sanchez and are trying to terminate his deal but it will not be easy.”

Fabrizio Biasin then explained that Inter need to offload players such as Andrea Pinamonti but also hope that Joaquin Correa or Edin Dzeko receive some more offers.

“They have to sell Pinamonti and to eventually get to Dybala, with whom Marotta still has an agreement of some kind, you have to hope that one of Correa or Dzeko gets offers.

“But they don’t want to leave. And so I struggle to find space for Dybala. Right now it seems very difficult, also because I don’t think Dybala can wait until August to join any team.”

Multiple clubs are starting to sense that there is a real opportunity to sign Paulo Dybala even though it seemed that he was desperate to join Inter. Napoli and AS Roma are among the favourites.
