The Italian media have been very impressed by new Inter signing Kristjan Asllani who performed well against Lugano in a friendly.

The Albanian youngster showed during the game against the Swiss side that he has an incredible level of technical ability and he plays with a personality that will be infectious for the team, as was reported by Tuttosport’s print edition.

He had already impressed in his first training sessions with the Nerazzurri but the former Empoli playing carried that onto the pitch in the 4-0 victory over Lugano.

It is assumed that he will begin the season as the deputy to Marcelo Brozovic at the base of the midfield but it is pointed out that his coach could use him in a number of roles in the midfield this season should he continue to impress.

Simone Inzaghi is pleased that he is now able to work with his entire squad and see who is up to speed.
