Inter duo Lautaro Martinez and Romelu Lukaku appear to be picking up where they left off in terms of their partnership on the pitch, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by Corriere dello Sport, there does not seem to be any ill-feeling between the two strikers after the Belgian left for Chelsea at relatively short notice last summer.

In the friendly against Lugano this week that ended 4-0 to the Nerazzurri, there was clear and continuous link-up between the two forwards just like when they scored 104 goals together under Antonio Conte.

They also seemed to be able to perform in different formations as in the second half they had Joaquin Correa behind them in a 3-4-1-2.

The pair are now determined to continue their great relationship and get over 100 goals in competitive matches between them this season as that could clinch the Scudetto.
