Arturo Vidal has officially completed his move away from Inter and has signed for Brazilian side Flamengo.
The Chilean midfielder has been linked with a number of teams throughout the summer, primarily in South America, and has finally chosen Flamengo as his next destination.
Arturo Vidal joined Inter in 2020 under Antonio and has made over 50 appearances for the Nerazzurri. He has not quite had the overall impact on the club that many hoped when he signed.
As one of the highest earners in the squad last season, it became clear that he would be leaving the club as the Nerazzurri needed to get him off the wage bill and he was only a rotational option for Simone Inzaghi.
There have been a lot of negotiations between the player and Inter in regard to severance pay as he still had a year to go on his contract. A fee was agreed and now he has joined Flamengo.
