Inter midfielder Nicolo Barella has said that facing difficulties has made him grow as a person, according to a report in the Italian media.

As has been reported by FCInternews, there was a short unveiling event at Inter on Thursday evening and a number of players were asked some questions by the media.

One of those players was Nicolo Barella who has managed to largely avoid all of the transfer speculations this summer by making it clear that he does not want to leave the Nerazzurri.

He was asked a question about his experience in the game he explained that the sport makes him meet a lot of people but it is the difficulties that bring the biggest opportunities for growth.

“It’s a sport that makes me come into contact with so many people, so many cultures, but surely what made me grow the most were the difficulties. In football there’s the good and there’s the bad, with time you take all you can take and I’m trying to do that.”

Nicolo Barella started last season in superb form but he had a serious lull in the middle of the campaign. He will be aiming for a more consistent season this time.
